Dr. Wafa’ Abbas Sahan, Head of the English Language Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women, participated in the Eighth International Conference on Language, Linguistics, Translation, and Literature, held in Ahvaz, Iran, on 14–15 February 2023.

Additionally, Dr. Sahan presented her research paper entitled: “Prioritizing and Ideological Reflections: A Critical Stylistic Analysis”, which explored how ideologies are embedded through the structural dimension of texts.

It is worth noting that several other faculty members from the Department also contributed to the conference by presenting research papers online. These included Lect. Sabrinah Abd Al-Kadhim Abd Al-Ridha, Asst. Lect. Hind Mohammed Sami, Asst. Lect. Noor Ahmed Hameed, and Asst. Lect. Amani Abd Al-Kadhim, each of whom addressed topics within the scope of the conference’s thematic topics.
