Under the auspices of the esteemed President of Al-Zahraa University and the direct supervision of the esteemed Dean of the Faculty of Education, the Department of English Language organised a scientific workshop entitled “Disability Studies in Selected Literature.”

The workshop was led by Asst. Lect. Alaa Musadaq, a lecturer in the English Language Department, and held at one of the department’s halls. Additionally, she managed to shed light on the academic studies that have addressed this topic, highlighting selected examples and how researchers have approached them.

A slew of faculty members as well as female students of the department, who actively participated through questions and discussions, attended the said event. Besides, the workshop concluded with the presentation of suggested topics for future research that could be pursued by specialists in the field.
