Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women and with the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, the Department of English held a scientific workshop entitled “The Jargon”.
The workshop was presented by Asst. Lect. Estabraq Ali, a faculty member of the department, in one of its halls. The session explained the concept of specialized terminology used in different fields and the reasons behind its development. It also included practical examples of jargon from various disciplines.
Faculty members and students of the department actively participated in the workshop by sharing additional examples, making the session both interactive and informative.
