Under the auspicious of the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Baheya, and the management of the Head of the English Department, Prof. Dr. Jalal Majeed Hussein, the Department of English at the College of Education, Al-Zahraa University for Women, organized the Cultural Day Festival.
The event, representing the department’s annual day celebration, was held in the Umm Abiha Hall on Saturday, April 27, 2024.
The festival began with a speech delivered by the Dean of the College of Education, followed by remarks from the Head of the Department. The program also featured various activities, including poetry recitations in English and theatrical performances presented by the department’s students.
The University President, along with several faculty members and a large number of students, attended the festival.
The event concluded with honoring the participating students by presenting them with gifts in appreciation of their contributions.
