Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiyah, the Mathematics Department organized a welcoming ceremony for first-year students on their first day of classes. The event began with a speech by the Dean, followed by a speech from the Head of the Department, Dr. Yaseen Marza.
The ceremony focused on welcoming the students, offering advice, and providing encouragement. Several faculty members and students from the department attended the event, which concluded with the distribution of sweets to the attendees.
It is worth noting that such activities stem from the teaching staff's desire to motivate students and demonstrate respect and appreciation for them.
