Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, the university achieved a distinguished academic accomplishment by winning first place in the ninth season of the Ramadan “Intellectual Challenge,” held at the University of Karbala on Tuesday evening, February 24, 2026.
The competition saw the participation of three universities: Al-Zahraa University for Women, University of Warith Al-Anbiya, and the University of Karbala.
The event concluded with Al-Zahraa University for Women taking first place, followed by University of Warith Al-Anbiya as runner-up, and the University of Karbala in third place. The College of Education was represented by students Zainab Fouad Fadel, Shahinaz Ali Reda, and Fatima Ali Hussein, alongside student Rawan Ali Diyaa from the College of Pharmacy.
The competitions unfolded in a Ramadan atmosphere characterized by intellectual challenge and spirited rivalry, with questions spanning cultural, scientific, and cognitive domains, enabling students to showcase their analytical skills, critical thinking, and quick responses.
This achievement reflects the high academic caliber of the College of Education’s students and highlights the college’s commitment to supporting extracurricular scientific activities that foster personal development and cognitive skill enhancement, affirming that investing in young talent is a cornerstone of excellence and success
