*High-Level Academic Cooperation between the College of Engineering and the University of Karbala to Enhance the Development of the Architecture Department*

The Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, received an academic delegation from the Department of Architecture Engineering at the governmental University of Karbala. The delegation included the Head of the Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haider Ibrahim Allawi, and Lecturer Dr. Haider Naji Atiyah, within the framework of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation between the two institutions.

The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hiba Jabbar Al-Aqabi, Acting Head of the Architecture Engineering Department at Al-Zahraa University for Women, along with Lecturer Maysoun Safi Yasser, the department’s assistant .

Both parties discussed mechanisms to expand the horizons of academic cooperation between the two universities, particularly regarding the approval of curricula for the five academic stages in accordance with the recommendations of the scientific committee of the Architecture Engineering Department at Al-Zahraa University. The meeting also addressed ways to develop curricula and exchange expertise in a manner that contributes to enhancing the educational and practical pathways of the department.

The College of Engineering and Information Technology affirmed that such meetings are part of its strategic plans to build effective partnerships with governmental universities, thereby strengthening its academic standing and supporting progress in the field of Architecture Engineering.
