Engineering for All: Inclusion and Empowerment of People with Disabilities to Build the Future

On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, observed annually on December 3rd, the College of Engineering and Information Technology, represented by its Dean, Professor Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, along with its academic and administrative staff, affirms its support for the rights of persons with disabilities and its adoption of the concept of full inclusion within educational and community environments. This aligns with this year’s theme: “Building inclusive communities for persons with disabilities to advance social progress.”

The College celebrates this day by renewing its commitment to empower female students with disabilities, providing a flexible learning environment and necessary accommodations that ensure their active participation on campus. Inclusion is practiced through classrooms, research, and innovation.

Additionally, the College supports initiatives and projects that enhance assistive technologies and facilitate access to knowledge, fostering a fair and motivating environment that offers equal opportunities to all.

We extend our utmost respect and admiration to persons with disabilities, who embody determination and create a positive impact.
