The College Council holds a meeting to discuss the mechanisms of the SIS system and facilitate student registration procedures

The College of Engineering and Information Technology held an important College Council meeting attended by the Dean, Professor Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, along with department heads and academic and administrative staff, in addition to the development team of the Student Information System (SIS) adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The meeting aimed to address existing system issues and to facilitate student registration procedures, data migration, and electronic submission.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Lecturer Ali Mohammed Reda Kamel, a member of the ministerial committee for training on university management systems, along with Engineer Hassan Jassim from the technical support team. Technical challenges were reviewed, and practical solutions were proposed to ensure smooth workflow.

The SIS system is considered one of the modern systems designed to organize students’ academic and administrative information, facilitate registration procedures, and enable electronic tracking of courses and academic results, thereby enhancing digital transformation and ensuring the efficiency and transparency of university services.
