The College of Engineering and Information Technology participates in the activities of the 13th edition of the Mahdawi Tent Festival.
The College of Engineering and Information Technology, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, along with the academic and media staff, participated in the opening ceremony of the 13th Mahdawi Tent Festival. The festival was organized by the Specialized Studies Center of Imam Al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance) in cooperation with Al-Zahraa University for Women, and was held in the Umm Abiha Hall on the university campus. The festival aims to strengthen the correct Mahdawi الفكر (thought) and deepen the spiritual and intellectual connection with Imam Al-Mahdi (peace be upon him).
The college’s participation came as part of its support for intellectual and cultural activities that enhance ideological awareness and contribute to spreading authentic Mahdawi values within the university environment.
The festival also witnessed active participation from a number of students of the College of Engineering and Information Technology from various first-year departments, who volunteered to help organize the activities and serve visitors. This reflects a practical embodiment of the spirit of belonging and social responsibility, and reinforces a culture of volunteer work among students.
