Nominated by the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiyya, and as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to support student talents and enhance their presence in scientific and developmental activities, student Huraa Kareem Abdul Amir from the College of Education / Department of English participated in the Second Investment and Entrepreneurship Exhibition. The event brought together several Iraqi universities and was attended by a distinguished group of investors and entrepreneurs.
The student’s participation featured her own project in the production of scented candles, which aims to offer aromatic products with both aesthetic and functional value. The project reflects the spirit of entrepreneurship based on investing individual skills and transforming them into productive ventures capable of growth in the labor market.
The exhibition included the presentation of various student-led projects designed to support students, harness their creative potential, and encourage them to turn their ideas into practical, market-ready initiatives.
The event also witnessed the honoring of participating students with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their efforts, in addition to financial support provided to each participating project, as part of an initiative to encourage youth-driven enterprises and promote a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation.
This participation reflects the institution’s commitment to academic openness and engagement in activities that contribute to building students’ scientific and professional capacities, while strengthening their active role in society.
