The Women’s Affairs Division in collaboration with the Al-Zahraa Centre for Scientific, Medical, and Pharmaceutical Research and the Centre for Continuing Education organised a specialised scientific workshop entitled “Occupational Safety”. The said event was under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President, and was presented by Prof. Dr. Lama Majid Ahmed, the Centre Director.

The workshop addressed key scientific topics, highlighting the concepts and importance of occupational safety in various work environments, particularly within educational and healthcare institutions. Additionally, it outlined preventive measures and strategies to mitigate risks, thereby contributing to the promotion of health and professional awareness.

This workshop reflects the University’s commitment to supporting awareness and educational programmes, fostering a culture of occupational safety, and advancing its academic and societal mission.
