The College of Engineering and Information Technology, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, along with its faculty members, administrative staff, and students, extends its deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Islamic nation on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), the Leader of the Pious and Master of the Successors. He once said: “People are of two types: either your brother in faith or your equal in humanity,” thus standing as a symbol of justice, fairness, and a voice of truth for all times.*
During these sorrowful nights, we recall his (peace be upon him) saying: “The value of a person lies in what he does well,” drawing inspiration from his noble life the meanings of faith, piety, and service to humanity. He remains an eternal model of justice and humanity .
As this painful occasion coincides with the blessed Nights of Qadr, we ask Allah Almighty to accept your prayers and good deeds, grant us the ability to follow the path of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), and return these blessed nights with with goodness, blessings, and acceptance of deeds.
