Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Samir Bahiya, the College of Education at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women organized a memorial ceremony to commemorate the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).
The event was held by the Department of Nahj al-Balagha and Islamic Education and the Department of Art Education, in cooperation with the Department of Media and Government Communication at the university, under the slogan: “The Path of Ali is Truth We Hold Fast To.”
The ceremony featured a number of memorial and cultural segments that recalled the noble life of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and his enduring attitudes in supporting truth and establishing justice. The program also highlighted his human and leadership values, which have stood as an exemplary model throughout Islamic history.
Organizing this ceremony reflects the College of Education’s commitment to reinforcing religious and educational values and raising students’ awareness of the legacy of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and their righteous path. It also aims to inspire moral and humanitarian lessons from the character of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) in building society and promoting the principles of justice and fairness.
