Students from the Departments of Architecture Engineering, Communications and Mobile Computing Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence Engineering at the College of Engineering and Information Technology took part in an introductory seminar organized by the Central Library at Al-Zahraa University for Women. The seminar aimed to familiarize first-year students with the academic and knowledge-based services offered by the library, contributing to supporting their academic journey from the very beginning of their university studies.
The seminar included a detailed presentation on how to benefit from both printed and electronic resources available in the library. It also featured a practical explanation of how to search library catalogs using approved systems such as Koha, as well as how to access reliable references and academic journals that support study and scientific research across various disciplines.
The participation of the College of Engineering students reflects the college’s commitment to promoting a culture of academic research and developing students’ scientific reading skills, in alignment with the university’s vision of providing an integrated educational environment. This environment enables students to efficiently utilize academic resources and supports their academic and research progress.
