ZUW welcomed Prof. Dr. Saad Al-Attarani, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Imam Ja’far Al-Sadiq University in Baghdad, during an official visit aimed at strengthening academic relations and promoting avenues of scholarly cooperation between the two institutions.

During the visit, a formal meeting was convened in which several topics of mutual interest were discussed. Additionally, these included the development of academic programmes, the advancement of higher education standards, and the support of scientific research pathways. The meeting further addressed mechanisms for the exchange of expertise among academic staff, as well as the activation of meaningful scientific partnerships that contribute to community service.

Furthermore, the discussions encompassed a range of proposals intended to establish a robust academic partnership. It bears noting that both parties agreed to enhance direct channels of communication, with the ultimate aim of signing a memorandum of scientific and research cooperation in shared fields of specialisation.

This visit comes as part and parcel of ZUW’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its academic presence by expanding cooperation with various universities. Besides, such efforts contribute to the integration of scholarly endeavours, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and support its aspirations towards excellence and leadership.
