The University's President in her opening remarks, managed to shed light on the significance of holding such events, which aspired to instill a sense of belonging among the female students to the values and principles of Imam Al-Mahdi. In addition, she highlighted the importance of fostering an Imam Mahdi inspired culture and promoting adherence to ethical and Islamic principles. Furthermore, she noted that such activity not only strengthened female students’ sense of identity but also laid the foundation for a culture centered on the cause of Imam Mahdi. She further underscored the necessity for female students to embody a mission-oriented and culturally enriched personality, advocating for a holistic approach to personal development that extended beyond academic learning to embrace Islamic principles and Imam Mahdi values. Mr. Jaafar Al-Qubbanji, administrator of the Mahdawi Tent activities, stated that the primary objective of this initiative was to enhance female students’ understanding of Imam Mahdi cause and to deepen their spiritual and emotional connection with him. It is noteworthy that Mahdawi Tent activities included such various segments as an open dialogue between students and experts on Imam Mahdi cause, an intellectual competition offering valuable prizes to winners, as well as writing letters addressed to the Awaited Imam, in which students expressed their heartfelt sentiments towards him. Additionally, the event featured a section for exhibiting and reading Imam Mahdi-themed books.
