Under the patronage of the Imam Hussein Shrine General Secretariat, and under the supervision of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Professor Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, the Human Rights Division, in cooperation with the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Department of Cosmetology and Laser Technologies, and the College of Education / Department of Nahj al-Balagha, organized a scientific seminar titled “The Rights of the Teacher and the Learner in Light of Risalat al-Huquq by Imam Zain al-Abidin (Peace Be Upon Him).”
The seminar was delivered by Dr. John Hanoon, who presented key legal and educational principles outlined in Risalat al-Huquq, with a focus on the interactive relationship between teacher and learner and its ethical and human foundations.
This seminar comes as part of ongoing efforts to promote awareness of rights culture within the academic environment and to connect it with the rich Islamic heritage, which is grounded in educational values that contribute to building a conscious and responsible academic community.
