Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Women, Professor Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Professor Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiya, the Department of Rhetoric and Islamic Education organized a scientific workshop entitled: “The Hypothesis of the Equality of Good and Bad Deeds in the Light of the Qur’anic Text.”
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdulhadi Al-Amiri, who addressed the concept of recompense for deeds in the Holy Qur’an. He highlighted the precision of the divine promise in recording human actions and holding individuals accountable for them. He also discussed the Qur’anic depiction of good and bad deeds and their doers, as well as the consequences that follow in both worldly life and the hereafter.
Furthermore, the workshop examined the impact of this hypothesis on shaping moral awareness and its reflection in both individual and societal behavior, emphasizing the importance of internalizing the values of divine justice.
The workshop went beyond theoretical discussion, shedding light on the educational and spiritual dimensions of the topic and how it contributes to strengthening individual and social responsibility, while reinforcing ethical values in the believer’s conscience.
