The Women’s Affairs Division, in cooperation with the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, organized a scientific workshop entitled “Women’s Issues and Challenges in Academic and Healthcare Work Environments,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Noor Zuhair Abdul Ghani, and held at Al-Kawthar Hall.
The workshop addressed the key issues facing women in academic and healthcare fields, highlighting the professional and social challenges that may affect their career paths. It also explored effective strategies to empower women and strengthen their role within the workplace.
Furthermore, the session emphasized the importance of providing a supportive and motivating environment that enables women to balance professional responsibilities with other commitments, thereby enhancing their efficiency and active participation across various sectors.
This workshop forms part of the ongoing efforts of Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women to support women’s issues, promote empowerment, and raise community awareness of their vital role in academic and healthcare development.
