Towards a Promising Digital Generation: The Dean Discusses Launching a Programming and Technology Camp for Youth
The Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, received delegations from the “Alpha” Club and the “Athar Al-Khalideen” Team in the second meeting of its kind to discuss prospects for joint cooperation in establishing a training and technology camp aimed at developing the skills of youth and children aged (7–17) years through specialized educational programs focused on modern programming and technological concepts.
The meeting included discussions on the initial plans for establishing a training camp at Al-Zahraa University for Women in the holy city of Karbala, in cooperation with the “Alpha” Club and the “Athar Al-Khalideen” Team, with the aim of supporting young talents and creating a modern educational environment that contributes to developing participants’ technical and programming skills.

The meeting also discussed mechanisms for launching future cooperation programs, including in-person training courses and workshops, in addition to establishing a specialized programming camp. Discussions further addressed providing suitable halls and infrastructure to ensure the success of the project and achieve its educational and developmental goals in serving youth and children.
