The Dean Discusses Cooperation with the Iraqi Programmers Syndicate During an Invitation Visit for the Launch Event
Professor Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, together with Professor Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, received a delegation from the Iraqi Programmers Syndicate – Karbala Branch. The delegation visited the university to officially invite the administration to attend the launch ceremony of the syndicate in the Holy Governorate of Karbala under the slogan:
*"Digital Karbala… Programmers’ Vision Towards a Smart Environment,"*
held under the patronage of the Governor of Holy Karbala, Dr. Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi.
The delegation included Dr. Wissam Ali Al-Khuzaie, Furqan Falah Al-Safi, Insam Abdulredha Al-Masoudi, Safaa Mohsen Al-Khayyat, Abdulkhaliq Al-Asadi, and Narjis Hashem Rahman Al-Mousawi. The visit witnessed discussions on prospects for future cooperation between the College of Engineering and Information Technology and the syndicate in technical and digital fields.
The meeting also addressed the possibility of organizing joint training programs and specialized workshops in programming, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence, contributing to the development of students’ skills, enhancing their readiness for the labor market, and keeping pace with digital transformation requirements.
The Dean emphasized the importance of building effective partnerships with specialized institutions and syndicates to support the academic and practical environment, positively reflecting on the educational and technological progress within the college.
