Under the patronage of the President of the University, Prof. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, and as part of the university’s continuous efforts to promote public safety awareness and reinforce preventive concepts within the academic environment, the Civil Defense Division, in cooperation with the Department of Internal Dormitories Affairs, organized a specialized training course in civil defense.

This course is part of an ongoing annual training program conducted over three days each month, aiming to strengthen public safety concepts and enhance the preparedness of staff members and students in dealing with various emergency situations.
The program covered several theoretical and practical aspects focusing on safety and security guidelines within university buildings, the proper use of different types of fire extinguishers, as well as rapid response mechanisms in emergency incidents. It also addressed the correct procedures to follow during emergencies to minimize risks and reduce potential losses.
In addition, the course included a detailed explanation of fire prevention principles and emphasized the importance of adhering to occupational safety measures within university facilities. Participants were also introduced to the essential knowledge required for handling emergency situations effectively, contributing to the creation of a safe and stable academic environment.
This activity comes as part of a series of awareness programs adopted by the university within its strategic plan to enhance the culture of safety and prevention, in line with its commitment to providing a secure and supportive educational environment.
