Free of Charge… Launch of the First Training Day of the “Next Gen Coders Camp 2026” for the Digital Creators of the Future
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, with the follow-up of the Media and Government Communication Division and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, the first training day of the free “Next Gen Coders Camp 2026” officially commenced. The camp is organized in collaboration with Alpha Programming Club and has begun in an interactive educational atmosphere within specialized classrooms and laboratories, with the participation of children and young learners from various age groups.
The opening day featured the start of practical training sessions in several tracks, including Scratch programming, Python programming, Web Development, Micro:bit programming, game development, and other modern training programs designed to enhance digital skills and develop participants’ capabilities.
As part of her follow-up of the training program, the Dean visited the classrooms and laboratories hosting the camp activities, which were organized according to age groups and skill levels. She reviewed the progress of the lessons and training methods, praising the efforts made to ensure the success of this distinguished initiative and emphasizing the importance of investing in young talents and preparing a generation equipped with future-oriented technological skills.
The camp, which is offered free of charge, comes within the college’s commitment to supporting technical education and promoting a culture of programming and innovation, in line with the demands of the digital age and contributing to the development of a generation proficient in modern technology tools.
