The President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Prof. Dr Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, alongside the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr Ghaida’ Abdul Hussain Al-Mulla, participated in the closing activities of the fifth edition of "Nidaa Al-Aqsa International Conference".

The conference, held under the generous auspices of the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain, organized by the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine, and in cooperation with Al-Zahraa University for Women, came under the slogan "Hussaini Revolution and Palestinian Narrative: Constructing Account in Confronting Disinformation".

The edition witnessed a review of several essential intellectual and cultural axes that addressed the importance of awareness regarding the Palestinian cause and the role of truthful discourse in refuting attempts at falsification and media disinformation. It also included recalling the immortal historical experience of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) in conveying the truth of the Battle of Taff and delivering the voice of truth, serving as an established model in preserving memory and confronting attempts to distort it.

In a speech delivered at the conclusion of the conference activities, the President of the University, Prof. Dr Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, expressed her pride in the university's participation in this intellectual forum, emphasizing that its presence in such events stems from its belief in the role of academic institutions in carrying the message of truth and enhancing awareness of just humanitarian causes.

The conference emphasized the importance of employing scientific, intellectual, and media capabilities to support the Palestinian cause and enhance its presence as a cause based on truth and justice.

The conference programme featured the opening of "Nidaa Al-Aqsa Procession" to provide services to the visitors of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), embodying the integration between intellectual message and service work, and affirming the connection of the Palestinian cause with human values inspired by the approach of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) in supporting truth and the oppressed.

The conference reaffirmed the necessity of continuing academic, intellectual, and cultural efforts supporting the Palestinian cause and enhancing shared responsibility in defending human issues, praising the role of academic institutions in cooperating to host conference activities and actively participating in its programme, thereby enhancing victory for the Palestinian cause in the near future.
