Prof. Dr. Ghada Abdul Hussain Al-Mulla, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, discussed horizons for scientific, academic, and research cooperation with Dr. Mohammad Bazargani, Director of International Relations at Sharif University of Technology in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The meeting was held in the presence of the University Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Zuhair Muhammad Ali Jaddou.The meeting explored ways to activate scientific partnerships in engineering and technological fields, exchange academic expertise and knowledge, and discuss opportunities for implementing joint research projects. These efforts aim to strengthen the cooperation pathway between the two institutions and support the College of Engineering and Information Technology's drive to expand its academic relationships with global technological universities.Both sides also discussed the possibility of enhancing communication between scientific colleges and departments, opening horizons for the exchange of researchers, faculty members, and students. Additionally, they considered organizing joint conferences, workshops, and scientific events to contribute to developing the educational and research environment and elevating the level of cooperation in engineering and technological specializations.The visit included a tour of several university facilities, during which the delegation inspected the classrooms, scientific laboratories, infrastructure, educational capabilities, and the central library. The Director of International Relations at Sharif University of Technology expressed his admiration for the level of development witnessed by the academic environment and the equipment supporting the educational process.This visit falls within the framework of the College of Engineering and Information Technology's approach to enhancing its international academic presence and building scientific partnerships with specialized universities in engineering and technology fields.
