Under the sponsorship of the General Secretariat of the Holy Hussaini Shrine and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Apparatus, Prof. Dr. Ghada Abdul Hussain Al-Mulla, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, participated in the scientific seminar entitled "Women and the Hussaini Revolution: From Karbala to the Fields of Awareness in Lebanon and Iraq." The seminar was held by the university as part of the activities of the 5th Al-Zahra International Academic Forum, with the participation of an elite group of female academics and media professionals from Iraq and Lebanon.The seminar emphasized that the Hussaini revolution established an integrated framework of awareness and steadfastness, invoking Sayyida Zainab (peace be upon her) as a role model for the conscious woman capable of carrying the message and confronting challenges. Its sessions addressed several intellectual and media-related axes, including the role of women in contemporary Islamic thought, the importance of Muslim women’s presence in the digital space, as well as their role in the fields of Jihad and resistance, and their responsibility in consolidating authentic values and promoting societal awareness.The seminar witnessed scientific dialogues and interventions that focused on the importance of enhancing cultural and academic cooperation between Iraq and Lebanon, and exchanging expertise in the fields of women's empowerment. This was in addition to exploring ways to utilize academic and media achievements in building a feminine awareness capable of dealing with contemporary intellectual and media challenges.
