College of Engineering and Information Technology Hosts Commemorative Event Marking the Martyrdom of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her)
 

The College of Engineering and Information Technology hosted, at Al-Siddiqa Hall, a commemorative event marking the martyrdom of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her). The event was organized by the Student Activities Department in cooperation with the university’s various academic and administrative units, under the theme: “Al-Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her): An Abundance of Giving and the Spirit of Prophethood.”

The event was attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, along with her deputies, as well as the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Al-Mulla, in addition to a number of academic and administrative staff members. During the event, the University President delivered a speech highlighting the esteemed status of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her) and the spiritual and humanitarian values embodied in her life and legacy. The speech was followed by a number of religious and poetic segments commemorating her noble life and legacy.

The event was held as part of the university’s cultural and religious program to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her) and to promote the presence of religious occasions within the university community.
