The Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Prof. Dr. Ghaida Abdul-Hussein Al-Mulla, received a delegation from the University Guidance Department affiliated with the Holy Hussaini Shrine, headed by Mr Ali Aref Al-Mousawi, the head of the department, and Dr Mohammed Abdul-Abbas Al-Mousawi, the department's scientific assistant, as part of efforts to strengthen communication and joint cooperation in psychological and educational guidance.

The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the scientific seminar organised by the Guidance Department in collaboration with the College of Engineering and Information Technology, titled 'Steps Towards Excellence: Psychological and Value Empowerment for Building a Well-rounded University Personality', discussed prospects for developing cooperation in holding seminars and specialised awareness workshops, contributing to promoting mental health and building a balanced university personality, with a focus on organising future events managed and presented by female staff, in line with the university's identity as a women-only educational institution, and providing a suitable environment to address psychological and educational issues of interest to female students.

The meeting emphasised the importance of continuing joint coordination and expanding guidance and awareness programmes, which enhances the university's role in providing a supportive learning environment that combines academic excellence with attention to the psychological and value aspects of the students.
