The Legitimate Overseer of the Affairs of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, His Eminence Sayyid Ahmed Al-Safi, affirmed the importance of strengthening educational guidance and counselling to protect young women from foreign ideologies that target their cultural and Islamic identity and negatively influence their behaviour, while undermining the values, principles, and ethics upheld by the revealed scriptures and advocated by Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
His Eminence further explained that confronting such harmful ideologies and other challenges facing society can only be achieved by developing the character of the female student, equipping her with a high level of awareness and understanding that enables her to recognise these challenges, appreciate their seriousness, and preserve her cultural identity and value system.
