Based on the keenness of Al-Zahraa University for Women to educate female students on all religious and cultural issues, especially those related to women, Al-Zahraa University for Women and under the auspices of the Holy Husayn Shrine, hosted: Prof. Dr. Maha Tawfiq Shbeita/ Al-Quds University in Palestine, in which, she presented a scientific symposium entitled: (The Impact of the Husseini Renaissance on Muslim Women’s strive and Confronting of Contemporary Challenges). The symposium was managed by Dr. Marium Al-Yasari under the presence of the President of the university Prof.Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, a group of administrative and teaching staff, and a group of female students, on Tuesday, 16/5/2023, at Umm Abiha Hall. The professor spoke about the role of women in previous and subsequent civilizations in different religions, and how women bore the banner of the Husayni revolution after Imam Hussain’s martyrdom. This was represented by the Lady Zainab (peace be upon her), that she was in her strength, culture, and capabilities, the protecting shield for her brother, his thoughts, and his principles. This was done by her sermons and directed instructions. In conclusion, the guest was honored by Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani and presented her a certificate of thanks and appreciation. It is worth noting that Dr. Maha Tawfiq participated in the conference on Orientalism and Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), which it was held by the Foundation of Warth Al-Nbeea for Specialized Studies in the Hussainian renaissance of the Holy al-Hussainiya Shrine.
