The Women’s Empowerment Division at Al-Zahraa University for Women launched its first course in “Basics of the Art of Knitting” within the summer development program organized by the Director of the Women’s Empowerment Division, Mrs. (Maather Talib), in which, it aims to invest the summer vacation in developing talents and teach a beautiful and useful handicraft for the female students and discover their creativity, hobby and passion.This was done in the presence of the trainer (Lama Al-Khafaji) from the Training and Development Department at the Holy Al-Hussainiya Shrine of, and in the presence and supervision of Mrs. (Alaa Qasim) from the Women’s Empowerment Division. On Wednesday corresponding to (5_7_2023) is the first day for the start of the course, and basic information has been given to the female students about the threads used in knitting, the sizes of hooks, and other preliminary information about knitting and its requirements, noting that the course continues for ten days.
