Delegation from Department of Intellectual Affairs at Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Visits Library of Al-Zahraa University for Women
A delegation of the Information Systems and Knowledge Management Division / Department of Intellectual Affairs of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine visited the library of Al-Zahraa University for women. The said delegation which was composed of Dr. Abbas Al-Qassab, President of the Bahrain Library Association, Dr. Farah, Information Science and Library Specialist from Lebanon, Dr. Mahdi and Mr. Hussein Adnan, Head of the Information Systems and Knowledge Management Division of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. Prof. Dr. Zuhair Muhammad Ali Jadu, scientific assistant of the University and Mrs. Hanan Farouk Mohamed, person in charge of Library, welcomed the delegation. The visit aimed to review the activities of the Central Library at the University, discuss scientific issues and exchange experiences between the University and the members of the delegation. Furthermore, the delegation commended the hospitality, reception and the work of the Library, notably its services, provided to female students. The diversity and abundance of books, in addition to many facilities related to resource search and loan mechanism gained particular importance in the discussion.
