Enhancing Chemical Safety Procedures in Academic Institutions
To foster a culture of occupational safety, Al-Zahraa Center for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research organized an educational symposium titled: “Chemical Hazards and How to Handle them.” The event was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Lama Majid Ahmed who led the session discussed the common risks associated with chemical substances and outlined appropriate emergency response techniques. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of adhering to chemical safety and security standards to ensure a safe and healthy work environment. It goes without saying that this initiative exemplifies the University’s ongoing commitment to enhancing environmental and health awareness within the academic community and promotion of the safe and proper use of chemicals across various disciplines.
