Under the slogan “Together for the Advancement of Our Educational Reality,” and under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Mr. Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani, and the supervision of Dr. Adnan Al-Sarraj, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Education Affairs, the Al-Takamul Educational Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Al-Zahraa University for Women, organized the Supplementary Educational Forum to the First Forum in the holy province of Karbala, marking the 20th anniversary of the group’s founding.
This forum comes as a continuation of the outcomes discussed during the first educational forum, aiming to evaluate the current educational landscape in Iraq and present scientific and pedagogical visions that contribute to building an integrated educational system.
The event brought together a distinguished group of academics, experts, and specialists in the field of education, who addressed several key topics, including curriculum development, empowerment of educational staff, and enhancing the role of women in educational institutions.
Dr. Adnan Al-Sarraj emphasized the importance of the forum in reassessing the state of education and pushing for comprehensive reforms. He noted that the discussions led to several recommendations, particularly on strengthening the role of women across various sectors, and highlighted the necessity of cooperation among all concerned parties to achieve effective and tangible outcomes.
For his part, Professor Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Jidou, the Scientific Assistant to the President of Al-Zahraa University, stated that the university plays a vital and active role in supporting the educational process. He further stressed the importance of ensuring high-quality educational inputs to graduate competent professionals capable of fulfilling the educational mission and achieving the desired learning objectives.
The forum is considered a significant step in delivering key educational recommendations that aim to support Iraq's educational reality and enhance the quality of the learning process, ultimately contributing to the preparation of a qualified and proactive generation equipped to face future challenges.
