Prof. Dr. Qasim Abais Duaim, an academic at the Department of English, College of Education, Al-Zahraa University for Women, participated as a member of a Master’s thesis defense committee at the College of Arts, University of Kufa.

 

The thesis, entitled “Neoliberal Individualism in TEDx Speeches: A Critical Discourse Analysis,” examined neoliberal individualism in TEDx speeches from a critical discourse analysis perspective.

 

During the defense, the committee discussed the thesis from scientific and methodological perspectives and provided a range of academic comments and recommendations aimed at enhancing the quality of the research and enriching its subject matter. At the conclusion of the defense, the thesis was approved after fulfilling the required academic requirements.

 

This participation reflects the active academic presence of the College of Education faculty members and their contribution to scholarly discussions and activities across Iraqi universities, promoting academic communication and the exchange of expertise among higher education institutions.
