Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Professor Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Al-Khafaji, the Department of Anesthesia Technologies organized a scientific workshop titled “The Impact of Ethical Conduct on Psychological Resilience.” The session was delivered by Assistant Lecturers Zahraa Hameed Jaber and Samar Ali Mahmoud, with the attendance of a distinguished group of faculty members and students.
The workshop shed light on the profound relationship between the ethical approach of Ahl al-Bayt and the development of psychological resilience. It emphasized that moral values form a fundamental pillar in achieving psychological balance and social stability, and that following their example—particularly in patience and tolerance—provides an effective practical framework for coping with life’s increasing challenges and pressures.
The session further explored how resilience, as derived from respected teachings and narrations, reflects an individual’s ability to adapt to crises with awareness and composure. Concepts such as emotional restraint and gentleness were highlighted as transformative values that strengthen inner stability and contribute to shaping a balanced and resilient personality.
The workshop concluded by emphasizing the importance of adopting the approach of Ahl al-Bayt as a comprehensive way of life—one that harmonizes firm values with flexible behavior—thereby reinforcing psychological immunity, preserving moral identity, and contributing to the development of a more aware and stable society.
