The Technical Training Division of the Department of Electronic Computing at Al-Zahraa University for Women, in cooperation with the Department of Continuing Education, organised a training course entitled “Website Development Using HTML and CSS”. The said course was delivered by programmers Hussein Fadhil Mohsen, Ahmed Zuhair Abd Al-Wahab, and Muntadhar Ghani Abd Al-Amir over three days, from 25–28 March 2023, at Al-Kawthar Centre for Continuing Education.

The course introduced participants to the fundamentals of building websites using a range of widely available development tools. Additionally, participants learned that HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the standard markup language used to structure the content of a website, including text, images, and video, while CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) is used to control the visual presentation of web pages, including font styles, colours, layout, positioning, and text direction.
