Visiting French Delegation Cognizes Al-Zahraa University’s Modern Architectural Design and Notable Educational Environment

In a remarkable initiative reflecting the University’s unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation, Al-Zahraa University for Women received a French delegation of modern architecture experts.  The said visit was intended to appraise the University’s educational premises, which adheres to contemporary global standards. It is also significant to note that the visit was organized in cooperation with Al-Sibt Specialist Centre for Publication and Scientific Research, affiliated with Imam Hussein Holy Shrine. The event is part of a broader effort deployed to strengthen academic cooperation and the exchange of expertise with international educational institutions.

Additionally, Mr. Ahmed Mousa Imran, Director of Al-Sibt Centre, clarified the objectives of the visit paid by the French delegation reputed for the design of prominent architectural projects. Furthermore, Mr. Imran stated that the visiting delegation aspired to be acquainted with the institutions of the Holy Shrine and particularly the establishment of Al-Warith City for Science and Innovation, a strategic initiative currently in development by the Holy Shrine. Additionally, the visit was also envisioned to offer a valuable opportunity to explore the latest global trends in educational building design, thereby contributing to enhanced performance and competitiveness on the international level.

Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Jadoo’, President University Assistant for Scientific Affairs, welcomed the delegation, underscoring the University’s unrelentless pursuit for academic excellence via an advanced educational environment in line with global advancements in higher education. He further asserted that cooperation with globally leading institutions was an integral part of the University’s institutional development strategy.

For her part, Prof. Dr. Ghaida’ Abd Al-Hussein Al-Mulla, Dean of Engineering and Information Technology Faculty, stated that the Faculty was established to deliver innovative programs in modern architectural engineering, ensuring that female students have access to the current curricula available worldwide.

The visit culminated in a roundtable discussion focused on the development of educational infrastructure and the adoption of modern construction technologies, paving the way for future cooperation with French and European bodies.

 

It is noteworthy that the visit underscored the crucial significance of combined local and international expertise in the realms of education and urban development, ultimately reflecting the University’s vision to achieve educational excellence and continuous innovation.
