Translation Unit The Department of Information and Public Communications held a training course to improve journalistic writing The journalist (Siddiq Abboud Farhan) lectured in the course and covered several topics, with special emphasis on providing the participants, who were media coordinators at various departments and faculties in the University, with the skill of writing news and titles that rightly corresponds to the activities carried out by those very departments and faculties, as well as offering different models of news coverage by news agencies and centers. He also provided detailed explanations by highlighting the most important strong and weak points to reduce mistakes and errors in press news editing. It is noteworthy that the training course took place in Al-Kawthar Hall for Continuous Learning spanning over three days from 2 to 4-12-2023, was concluded on its last day with tests for the participants in the presence of the Director of the Education Center at Al-Zahraa University Prof. Dr. Ali Jaafar Al-Husseini. At the end of the course, the lecturer was offered a certificate of appreciation from the President of the University for the efforts made.
