Education Faculty Holds Scientific Workshop on “Establishing Small and Medium Entrepreneurial Projects”
Under the aegis of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, President of Al-Zahraa University for Women, Faculty of Education at the University organized a scientific workshop titled “Establishing Small and Medium Entrepreneurial Projects”. The event which was also held under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiya, Dean of Education Faculty, was also conducted in cooperation with Career Development and Employment Division and Continuous Education Centre. Moreover, Ms. Huda Qasim Khazaal presented the workshop. The workshop covered key steps in creating entrepreneurial projects, starting from the initial idea to the implementation, based on market needs and targeted customers. Besides, it emphasized achieving the desired outcomes through plans grounded in an effective scientific methodology. Furthermore, attendees expressed keen interest in the workshop due to the valuable, practical information it offered, which can be applied in real-world settings as well as enhance the competitiveness of such a project among similar ones in the market. It is noteworthy that this workshop is part and parcel of the University’s ongoing efforts to improve both economic and social standing of women and empower them to actively contribute to the process of development.
