Al-Zahraa University for Women received a delegation from the Quran House in Ninawa, affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (piece be upon him), as part of an official visit aimed at strengthening cultural and academic collaboration and promoting the exchange of knowledge between both institutions.

During the visit, the delegation toured the University’s Central Library and reviewed its diverse academic and reference collections that support teaching and research. They also visited the Nahj al-Balagha Department to learn about its educational and research programs, and to explore the initiatives designed to advance Quranic and intellectual studies.

The delegation was headed by Mr. Ahmed Al-Hamoshi, Director of the Quran House, accompanied by Dr. Mohammed Abd Al-Hadi al-Aameri, Associate Professor and Head of the Nahj al-Balagha and Islamic Education Department, who offered an in-depth presentation on the department’s academic activities, curriculum, and scholarly approach. He emphasized the University’s distinguished role in supporting Quranic and intellectual research and in promoting a culture of knowledge among students.

Mr. Al-Hamoshi expressed his appreciation for the academic and organizational capabilities he observed, praising the University’s ongoing efforts to enhance the educational and research environment. He noted that such visits help strengthen cooperation and foster joint work between academic and cultural institutions in the fields of Quranic and intellectual studies.

This visit reflects the University’s continued commitment to expanding channels of communication and cooperation with institutions of knowledge and learning. It also contributes to supporting academic, research, and intellectual development while elevating the University’s standing in advancing specialized scientific programs. Moreover, it opens new horizons for collaborative and creative exchange in ways that benefit students, enrich the community, and affirm the University’s dedication to advancing education and knowledge according to the highest academic standards.
