Inam Mohammed Under the patronage of the University President (Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani), the Arabic Language Safety Unit associated to the College of Education (Arabic Language Department), in cooperation with the Department of Continuing Education at Al-Zahra University (peace be upon her)for women, organized the training course entitled “Arabic Language Safety” over a period of five consecutive days at the Al-Kawthar Center for Continuing Education at the university premises. The training course aimed to develop the skills of employees and administrative cadres and provide the opportunity for participants to gain sound linguistic skills to master the Arabic language verbally and in writing, and to acquire knowledge and information about common linguistic and spelling errors and ways to correct the same, and to ensure the integrity and clarity of expression in order to develop skills and avoid common linguistic errors when writing official books or when speaking in the Arabic language. The course, in which the professor of Arabic language at the College of Education at the University of Babylon (Prof. Dr. Safa Obaid Al-Hafeez) lectured, concluded with the necessity of developing linguistic culture capabilities and continuing language safety courses for employees and various staff to raise the level of written expression,
