Al-Zahraa University Launches First Educational Guidance Week

Al-Zahraa University Launches First Educational Guidance Week
Al-Zahraa University has officially launched its first Educational Guidance Week. The initiative was conducted under the aegis of General Secretariat of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, the University President. The event was organized by the University’s Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division, and overseen by its Person in charge Prof. Dr. Nasreen Al-Jailawi. The first day’s program commenced with an opening address delivered by the University President, who formally launched the guidance activities designed to reinforce the principles of educational counseling and adherence to religious teachings. A speech by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Al-Qazzaz, University President Assistant for Administrative and Financial Affairs followed suite. The day concluded with a lecture on religious commitment and its relevance to women’s professional roles, delivered by Education Faculty staff member, Sheikh Dr. Hussein Abdul Amir. In his lecture, he highlighted the challenges and obstacles that women must overcome with special emphasis on the importance of consecrating their presence to deliver tangible benefits to society. The week-long series of events will also include awareness raising workshops, seminars, as well as educational lectures tailored for both the University’s female students and staff. Additionally, these activities are designed to further instill the values of cultural and educational guidance, address prevalent challenges, and provide practical advice to help women achieve excellence in their professional, social, as well as cultural endeavors.
