Al-Zahraa University for Women welcomed a delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to assess the requirements for establishing new colleges and departments for the 2025–2026 academic year. The delegation included Prof. Dr. Hatem Hadi Ubaid from the University of Babylon, M.M. Moayad Faleh Hassan representing the Department of Reconstruction and Projects, and Ms. Dina Ibrahim Tariq from the Private University Education Authority at the Ministry’s headquarters.
The visit was attended by Prof. Dr. Zuhair Mohammed Ali Jadoa, Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ghaidaa Abdul Hussein Al-Mulla, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Zuhair emphasized the University’s strong commitment to meeting the scientific and technical standards required for the opening of new departments, in accordance with the Ministry’s regulations and guidelines. He noted that the visit represented an important step toward enhancing the academic work environment, ensuring the quality of implementation, and following up on development plans that serve the educational journey of the female students and elevate performance and quality standards.
