As part of Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) for Women’s efforts to enhance students’ religious and cultural awareness, the Specialized Studies Center in Imam Al-Mahdi, in cooperation with the university, organized the 13th Mahdawi Tent Festival. The festival aims to consolidate sound Mahdawi thought and deepen students’ spiritual and intellectual connection with Imam Al-Mahdi Al-Muntazar (may Allah hasten his noble reappearance), contributing to the development of a well-rounded religious and cultural awareness among female students.

During the opening ceremony, the President of Al-Zahraa University, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Mulla Al-Sultani, stated that such initiatives represent a fundamental pillar in strengthening the values of belonging and loyalty. She stressed the importance of building a comprehensive Mahdawi culture that balances academic achievement with noble human values. She added that the university’s vision goes beyond academic qualification to include the spiritual and ethical development of students, enabling them to play an active and influential role in society.

For his part, the supervisor of the Mahdawi Tent, Mr. Jaafar Al-Qabanji, explained that holding the festival at Al-Zahraa University (peace be upon her) comes within ongoing efforts to promote Mahdawi culture among students, raise their level of awareness of the Mahdawi cause, and strengthen their spiritual and moral connection with Imam Al-Mahdi Al-Muntazar (may Allah hasten his noble reappearance). He also affirmed that the festival seeks to empower students with a deeper understanding of Mahdawi values and principles and to develop their intellectual and cultural awareness, contributing to the preparation of a conscious and educated generation.
