Al-Zahraa University for Women holds a training course in preparation for medical platoon service for Imam Hussein’s Arabeen visitors
Initiating the services to be provided by the medical and health platoons of Al-Zahraa University for Women to millions of visitors during the observance of the forty mourning day anniversary of Imam Hussein’s assassination (Arbaeen), the university held a training course in preparation for the start of medical services provision. The course was presented by Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel Allah, and Eng. Ali Jabbar, on Saturday, 17/8/2024, at Anesthesiology Department Hall. The course included clarifications of the most common cases faced by visitors, including: suffocation, heartbreak, trauma, fainting, wounds, bleeding, nosebleeds, burns and fractures. Ample information and training were offered on the proper treatment of these cases and the appropriate medicines for each case. Furthermore, the course also offered training on how to measure respiratory rate, heartbeat, blood pressure and sugar levels.
