In a bid to design a healthy and educational curriculum for its students, in line with the scientific awareness programs conducted by Al-Zahraa University for Women, the Department of Scientific Affairs at the University, in cooperation with its Faculty of Education, held a scientific lecture entitled “Autism Disorders and Hyperactivity”, presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shamil Mohsen Hadi, Professor at the University of Oakland, USA, on Monday, 23/9/2024, at Um Abiha Hall. The lecture discussed curriculum mechanisms of the Department of Special Education and underscored its absolute need for continuous updating, to be in consonance with relevant educational programs at international universities. It is noteworthy that cooperation horizons will be opened between Al-Zahraa University for Women and numerous similar universities
