Under the patronage of the President of Al-Zahraa University (PBUH) for Women, Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Sultani, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Prof. Dr. Iman Sameer Bahiyya, the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Education organized a specialized scientific course in Arabic language entitled “The Art of Parsing,” which lasted for three days.

The course focused on facilitating the rules of Arabic grammatical parsing (i‘rab) and their practical applications. The lectures were delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huda Saeed Al-Ameedi, Head of the Department of Arabic Language; Asst. Prof. Dr. Kazem Taresh Al-Asadi, Department Rapporteur; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Athab Muteer Athafa, faculty member in the same department.

The course aimed to simplify the art of parsing as a fundamental pillar of Arabic grammar through practical sessions and interactive discussions designed to enhance participants’ applied understanding. It also emphasized its role in developing teaching skills and linguistic analysis, in line with the Department’s objectives of preserving linguistic heritage and advancing academic standards.

The course witnessed wide attendance, reflecting the University’s commitment to organizing continuous training programs and supporting academic activities that contribute to the advancement of the educational process.
