Delegation from the College of Pharmacy Conducts an Official Visit to Al-Mustansiriyah University to Enhance Academic Cooperation

A delegation from the Deanship of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Zahraa University for Women conducted an official visit to the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustansiriyah University, as part of ongoing efforts to expand areas of academic cooperation and to sign memoranda of understanding that enhance joint collaboration between the two colleges.

The delegation included the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Noor Hatif Al-Dabbagh; the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul Hussein; and the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Industry, Assist. Prof. Dr. Qasim Badr Alawi. The delegation was received by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Mustansiriyah University, Prof. Dr. Mundhir Faisal Al-Amiri, during which future axes of cooperation and mutual understandings between the two sides were discussed.

The discussions addressed ways to develop bilateral relations between the two colleges through joint programs that include the exchange of academic and research expertise, the organization of specialized training workshops, and support for student projects, in addition to activating channels of cooperation in the fields of accreditation and quality assurance.

Both parties also explored the possibility of signing memoranda of understanding that would pave the way for broader initiatives in scientific research, laboratory training, and the pharmaceutical industry. They emphasized that integration between the two colleges would contribute to raising the standard of pharmaceutical education in the long term, as well as highlighting the role that academic institutions can play in developing the higher education environment in Iraq through sustainable partnerships that enhance faculty capabilities and improve student competencies.

Both sides expressed their mutual readiness to move forward with formulating specific action programs in the coming phase, ensuring that the proposed understandings are translated into concrete implementation steps that support the educational process in the pharmaceutical field.
